About Great Water

From it’s humble beginnings as a family venture in rural Victoria, Great Water has grown with the Byers family into a Great Company now based in Melbourne.

Max Byers played football for Essendon in the early sixties under John Coleman. After football, Max and wife Barbara settled with their six children in Pakenham where they farmed sheep, cattle and wheat.  In 1993, their son Paul founded a water-filter servicing company with them and their daughter Cathy.

Great Australian Water Servicing, as it was then known, moved with Paul to Melbourne where he sourced the best water filtration systems available. The Byers’ company developed into today’s filtered drinking water company, Great Water, which both supplies and services these superior systems to thousands of health-conscious Australians.
